We Found Bigfoot story begins when award-winning documentary filmmaker, Rock Thomson is approached by Dalton West who represents several Native American Nations. West wants Thomson to do a documentary film about Bigfoot living in their forest. West explains that if they can prove Bigfoot lives in the forest, they can stop the government from clearcutting their sacred forest.
At first, Thomson is skeptical and refuses. When West makes him an offer he can’t refuse, Thomson finally agrees.
Thomson and his cinematographer, Smitty, travel to a small town in Oregon where he films several interviews and discovers the secret of how to find Bigfoot.
Wanting to deliver a quality film, Thomson decides to take a group to the area where he is most likely to find the elusive creature.
When things do not go as planned, Thomson decides to go it alone and the adventure begins and he finds a lot more than he planned.
